This page explains what Hotel Chhuti does with the information you give us when you book a room, write a review or send us a message. We have tried to write it in plain language rather than legal padding.

What we collect

  • Your name, email address and mobile number.
  • Your postal address, when you give it for the booking or an invoice.
  • Details of the stay — dates, room type, number of guests, meal plan and any special request you make.
  • Your booking history with us, and any review you write.
  • Basic technical information your browser sends, such as the pages you looked at on this site.

Why we collect it

To take and hold your booking, to confirm it by email, to have the room and the meals ready, to reach you if something changes, to meet the record-keeping that hotels in India are required to do, and to answer you when you write in. We do not sell your details to anyone, and we do not send marketing email unless you have asked for it.

Card details

Payments are handled entirely by Razorpay. Your card number, CVV, UPI PIN and net banking credentials are entered on Razorpay's own secure page — they never pass through this website and are never stored on it. All we receive back is whether the payment succeeded, and a payment reference.

Cookies

This site sets a session cookie so that you stay signed in and so that the rooms you have chosen stay in your booking basket while you complete the payment. These are necessary for the site to work. We do not use cookies to follow you around other websites.

Who your information is shared with

  • The hotel — the property you are staying at, so that reception has your booking.
  • Razorpay, our payment gateway, so the payment can be taken and, if needed, refunded.
  • Our email provider, to deliver the confirmation and cancellation emails.
  • Government authorities, where the law requires us to produce guest records.

How long we keep it

Booking and payment records are kept for as long as tax and hospitality record-keeping rules require, and then removed. Messages sent through the contact form are kept while we deal with them and for a reasonable period afterwards. Reviews stay published unless you ask us to take yours down.

Your rights

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct anything that is wrong, ask us to delete what we are not required to keep, and withdraw consent for any optional email. Write to us and we will act on it. If you have an account on this site you can also update your own details from the account pages.

Security

Access to booking records is limited to the people at the hotel who need it. Passwords are stored hashed, never in plain text. No system is perfect, but we do not keep what we do not need.

Contact

For anything to do with your information, write to [email protected] or [email protected] , or use the contact page.

This is Hotel Chhuti's standard privacy policy. The hotel can edit this page from its admin panel, and the version shown here is the one that applies.
