Refund & Cancellation Policy

Plans change, and we would rather you told us early than not at all. This is how cancellations and refunds work for a booking made on this website.
Cancellation windows
The refund depends on how far ahead of your check-in date you cancel. The date the cancellation reaches us is the date that counts.

How to cancel
If you booked while signed in, open your bookings and request the cancellation there. Otherwise call the hotel or write to us with your booking reference, and we will confirm the cancellation by email. Please do not treat a cancellation as done until you have that email.
When the money comes back
Refunds are made to the original payment method — the same card, UPI handle or bank account you paid from. We cannot send it anywhere else. Once we process the refund it usually reaches you within 7 to 10 working days, depending on your bank.
Gateway charges
The payment gateway keeps its processing fee on every transaction, and it is not returned to us when a booking is cancelled. That charge is therefore non-refundable and is deducted from any refund, including a full one.
Peak season and packages
Bookings for peak dates — the Puja holidays, Christmas and New Year, and the Gangasagar Mela period — and bookings that form part of a tour package or a group allotment may carry their own cancellation terms. Where they do, those terms are stated at the time of booking and take precedence over the table above.
If we have to cancel
If the hotel cannot honour a confirmed booking, we will offer you alternative dates or a full refund of everything you have paid, including the gateway charge, and we will tell you as soon as we know.
